Triumph Warehouse Sale!!~ Armor Re-stocking Spree!! [Part 1]

Ah... have been wanting to do this for a longggggg time. I only heard about the Triumph warehouse sale around 1 - 2 years ago. I prefer Triumph-made armor for its quality and durability but I soooo hate its price. To be fair, most good quality chest shields don't come cheap. Those in the bargain bins come 'wireless' and wrinkles faster than pitted prunes. So naturally, when I heard of such a sale, I was tempted to go. Well, I was only tempted for I was skeptical of the products that will be put on sale... they could be wireless, granny-looking or 'sizeless', so to speak. A search on the net gave little information on the loot that the "bra-ndits" snapped up at the huha sale. Still the forumers on flowerpod.com.sg provided just enough to drive my turnip legs on the move.

The 1st Triumph sale that I went to was held at The Chevron, which is quite a distance from my residence. To beat the crowd, I had to rise before the birdies do and make my way to 48 Boon Lay Way, eyes half closed. (Seriously, I'm exaggerating =p) We got there early, before the doors were opened. And yes, ladies, lasses, aunties and grannies were already planting themselves strategically before the doors. The doors opened at 10 a.m. sharp and you could tell from the expressions of the Triumph staff that a great battle lies ahead.

The hall was spacious and had as many as 50 bins neatly filled with an assortment of padded chest shields, skimpy groin cloths as well as chlorine tolerant ones too. Carton boxes which I believe the treasures laid were stacked on the hall stage. Oh yes, do not arm yourself with any "hand-carriers"/ "shoulder-hangers" for they will only impede your progress to the beckoning bins. You will be stopped at the entrance for the staff to commit the suffocating act on your handbags/ carriers - sealing your bags in plastic. With just me and my wristlet, I walked in hands free and bags free.... liberating me with that extra nano second to lay my hands on that "nami-nami" look-alike seamless wonder bra.

So 1 lesson for you... do not carry bags at all. You will have that extra second to reach for that last piece of wonder treasure before any saddled bra-ndits could.

2nd lesson... be barbaric... well, not to the point where you start bashing people up, yanking some poor folks' hair... just erm, rumage through the bins..."ransack" them... the items in there are meant to be tossed around and messed up. It's chaos, no law and order in here.

Triumph staff do replenish the stock, so do keep your eyes peel and play eye hawk. Good stuff are snatched up fast! If you ever visit any of these well advertised Triumph ware house sale, you will see a many bra-ndits lugging gigantic bags of padded armor which would cause your imagination to run wild... titsathousand? Trust me, no amount of cajoling will make them release their clutches on their precious stash. So, it's finders, keepers!

Prices for the chest binders could range from 3 for $15 to 3 for $45 and 5 for $10 / 5 for $15 for the bottom huggers. Bathing suits are priced at $10 a piece (top or bottom).

Being inexperience, I kinda overspent during my 1st visit. The damage for the wallet was around $120+ for 6 bras and I-lost-count panties. I kinda stuck to picking up items from the same discount bin... to make up to the count. Sticking to the same discount bins also made me brought home some that I didn't like that much. In actualty, you don't have to stick to picking up exactly 3 items from the same discount range. You can pick up just 1 item and the price will be calculated according to its discount range. For instance, you picked a top from the 3 for $45 bin... so that top would be charged at $15. In this way, you do save quite a bit and yet get the items that you really want.

The 2nd warehouse sale that I went to was also held at the same place. This time round, I was a lot more toned down and wasn't as aggressive as I was during my 1st visit. I didn't spend much, bought a couple of essentials and daily wear. So the damage was considerably milder. Around 60 bucks I guess.

My 3rd visit was the most pleasant one of all. This time round it was held at Orchid Country Club. It wasn't very publicised and so, there weren't many people. I could sashay my way in and out, between bins. I bought around 6 bras and 6 panties for approximately 60 bucks. Well, like the saying goes, a picture paints a thousand words...

The Nami-Nami nemesis - Managed to lay my hands on just one during the last sale.
These were hot favourites! Those bra-ndits that I met during the 1st sale had mountains of them heaped over their arms ~__~`

Look at the seamless curves~~ Lovely!!

On the left is what they called the 'seamless maximizer'. On the right, it's more of a racer back Sloggi sports bra lookalike. Honestly, I won't use these as sportsbra. It'll land you in cardiac arrest.

Tag ripped off the cups.. "Up Up" ♪└∵┐♪└∵┘♪┌∵┘♪

These are front clasp shields, as such, do get one size bigger, one cup smaller. It will be less suffocating, trust me. ε=ε=ε=ε┏(●´Д`●)┛まて〜

Pretty and comfy underpants =D
Those on the left are uber comfy and thin.
Come to think of it, those that I picked are mostly thin (⌒▽⌒ゞ テレルネ

Okay, I figured that I'll write this in 3 instalments. So here's the 1st part to our Armor Spree. Look out for the 2nd part where I will combine some other finds from the Triumph Warehouse spree. Watch out, more humps ahead! (▼ω▼)ジーー
